Digital Out of Home (DOOH) refers to digital media used for marketing and advertising purposes outside of the home with the aim of maximising a brand’s visibility. This includes the use of digital signage.
Electronic display boards are part of a central network, and placed in strategic locations around venues such as shopping malls airports, service stations and even doctors surgeries. DOOH networks are usually connected to a central server via the Internet or WAN and displays targeted content for a selected audience.
The content displayed can be dynamic location-based advertising or feeding real-time information such as the weather and current news. Digital advertising screens can create a richer experience for the customer and enhance brand awareness. JDS has experience in helping to build some of the largest digital out of home networks in Australia.
