It should be simple and easy to change content on your signage, and our software has been specially designed to be user-friendly. Access is on the cloud so you can manage content from any computer or tablet connected to the internet.
The software is hosted on our own server in Australia, with very strict security protocols in place for your peace of mind, plus a secure dedicated unique login and password and 4G SSL security connections. If needed, remote access from our end allows us to monitor and correct any issues.
This is what your audience sees, and to be frank, signs are judged on how well the content shows on the screen. Referred to as the Pitch or P, the narrower the better. By default, we only use ultra-low-resolution pitch LEDs like P4, so images and text are crystal clear at any distance. Top tier Nationstar brand SMD LEDs with gold internal wiring are standard on our specially designed thermal heat dissipation modules. These are manufactured for high performance, for more than 100,000 hours of use.
All JDS screens include the very latest tech with environmentally friendly low-power, efficient,
fanless designs. The lifespan of your screen depends on top quality electronic components and
how they are put together. Developed in our handpicked factory, which is one of the top ten in the
world, our screens are manufactured to our exact specifications to cater for all Australian
environments. All screens are full colour, feature an unlimited amount of text, colour images or powerpoint material and have an ambient light day and night sensor as well as a temperature sensor to display this on the screen. The screen cabinet and frame set are made from 100% recyclable aluminium, which is important for enhanced heat management.

JDS has a dedicated team of national support technicians. Initial training is done remotely in your time frame or can be accessed via our support videos so you can train yourself.
For peace of mind we provide ongoing yearly support, and if you have a question or need help, the team is only a phone call or email away, so you’ll never feel stuck.
A standard warranty of ten years on the frame set and ten years manufacturers warranty on the screen is included with your signage. There is no call out fee for any warranty claims during the warranty period, and we also cover the 4G sim card fee. All necessary software, including any upgrades, is provided for free.

From an aesthetic standpoint, commercial displays are designed to blend in with their environment—thin clean, industrial, minimal designs. Consumer screens are not built for the wear-and-tear of prolonged, non-stop use, and are easily damaged if dropped or hit by an object.Commercial displays are specifically designed to operate around the clock and are built with encasings that protect from impacts, dust, heat and other harsh conditions.
Consumer TVs tend to function best in dim lighting as they are designed for residential environments, however, most educational settings are well-lit. A commercial grade LCD is designed to have higher brightness levels, with an aspect ratio of 16:9 to broadcast and stream all types of content—including web pages, online videos, motion graphics, slides, promotional content and more.
Depending on where the information you want displayed is coming from, in other words, if you are
creating the content yourself or it is coming from another software source, you are going to need
a digital signage media player, either external or built into the screen.
Commercial screens offer a wide range of inputs in addition to HDMI, including VGA, display ports,
USB and DVI. Commercial LCD displays also support video-loop out connections for video walls.
LCD screens are built with higher-grade components that last significantly longer than consumer
TV components. You can expect to get somewhere between 70,000–100,000 hours from a commercial display running continuously. LCD commercial signage displays come with a three-year on-site replacement warranty, while most consumer TVs only come with a one-year warranty, and often include fine print stating something along the lines of ‘the warranty will be voided if the display is used for commercial purposes’
