Collins234 Boutique Place is home to some of Melbourne’s finest and unique fashion, beauty and specialty retailers. The centres marketing manager was looking for smarter ways to promote the centre and increase the visibility for their retail tenants. Digital signage was chosen as an ideal technology as multiple messages can be scheduled to display on specific days and times to compliment the promotional activities for this boutique centre and its retail tenants.
Three large high brightness LCD panels are located at the entrance to the centre to attract potential visitor. Two on busy Collins Street and one at the rear entrance on Howey Place.
Another two screens are located in the main traffic area within the centre. One of these LCD panels touchscreen capabilities to be used as the centres directory wayfinder.
The software solution chosen by JDS to control these screens is DC Media Cloud.
This cloud based solutions allows user to access the software from any computer connected to the Internet.
For easy installation each media player simply needs an Internet connection via a cable or wifi connection.
